Career Counselling

Throughout the year, our Career Counsellor meets with high school students individually to discuss their high school plans and to develop their transition plans for after high school. He is also available to answer any questions that parents/guardians might have about their child's academic and career planning.

Our Career Counsellor provides a variety of services to our students:

  • Planning high school courses

  • Career assessments & interest inventories

  • Researching occupations and current labour market trends

  • Assistance applying to summer programs, such as Bold Eagle, Junior Forest Rangers, and RCMP Aboriginal Youth Camp

  • Post-secondary planning and applications

  • Writing a resume, cover letter and other help with job prep

  • Finding and applying for scholarships and other sources of funding, such as Frog Lake Post-Sec & Freehorse

Parents and students are welcome to request an appointment with our Career Counsellor by contacting the school.
